  • By investing in this effort now, you can help us reduce or eliminate interest and carrying costs associated with any traditional bank loans required during the building phase.
  • Little Living is also pursuing financial support from local and state agencies for road, water & sewer expenses. Any funds from these agencies will only arrive at the completion of the project, which will then be used to invest in Phase 2 and our other building efforts.

Georgetown "Market Street Village"

"A Workforce Housing Community" 

Georgetown, DE Phase 1:

LittleLiving.org plans to develop10 to 12 furnished one-bedroom and two-bedroom single-family rental homes in Georgetown DE. Homes will range from 400 sq. ft. to 680 sq. ft. Monthly rental costs are expected to be around$1,100 and will include utilities and internet access.

Accomplishments to-date:

  • Acquired 1 acre of land to build 10 Homes in the Georgetown Opportunity Zone.
  • Granted permission from the Georgetown Town Manager and Council to Build tw0 Proof of Concept homes on the property. The first is about 65% completed, 
  • Received DelDOT approval to build on site and notification for expedited processing of the site application.

Georgetown, DE Phase 2:

Little Living is currently negotiating to purchase two additional lots next to the lot being developed in Phase 1. The lot will support 10 to 12 additional rental homes, plus an overflow parking lot.

Estimated Project Cost:                         $1.0M to $1.2M

 

 

Kent County,DE (“Murphy Farm”):

Currently in negotiations to acquire a 27-acre tract of land in Kent County that will accommodate 200 homes for sale and an additional 40 to 50 homes as rentals.
